Valery Karen is currently completing a commerce degree at Montreal University, this business savvy individual is actively implementing her entrepreneurial visions through the creation of her own lingerie brand, “Glo”.
Her greatest ambition is to travel the world and achieve all of her dreams. Valery also enjoys volunteering for “The Missing Children” foundation as well as “The Ride to Conquer Cancer” which is an epic and challenging two day journey.
However, what she rejoices in most are times spent with family and true friends, aerial trapeze, Opera performances and great healthy food.

What would be your “dream job” in life?
I always had a yen for traveling. As a child, I remember watching tourism shows and visualizing the experience of these new and exotic locations. My dream job, definitely involves travelling. I would love to host my own promotional travel show. I have also been attracted to entrepreneurial endeavours with the idea of expanding my current lingerie brand, Glo. nationally and hopefully, with the right investor, grow internationally as well.

When I was in college, I spent my entire second semester as a note taker for other college students.
Where is the most interesting place you have been?
It is Turkoise in the Turks and Caicos. The place was in need of such renovations and yet the disposition of everyone there made it absolutely spectacular.
What is your philosophy of/in life?
I believe, we can’t expect anything to merely happen. We must go out and get it. Life is shorter than we think. It is important to laugh, love, enjoy and cherish every moment. Live each day as though it were your last.
