Sarah’s the type of person that believes anything is possible once you put your mind to it. She is currently a 3rd year student at Ryerson University majoring in Psychology. When she’s not busy with her head in books, watch out for this sports crazy tomboy.
Her desire for sports led her to playing competitive soccer for over 10 years, as well as being highly involved in many other sports including volleyball, softball and fencing while growing up throughout her teenage years, rewarding her as female athlete of the year four years in a row.
She discovered her true passion not too long ago, for mixed martial arts which has affected her life positively in every aspect.
Sarah believes you should always try new things in order to truly discover who you are. Shoot for the sky and never look back down. She also believes living a healthy lifestyle will only give you that inner strength to push for more.
Moreover, Sarah hopes to one day open her own fitness and rehabilitation center. The opportunity to represent Canada in Miss Universe has allowed Sarah to get out of her comfort zone and experience life beyond its limits. At the same time, it’s allowing her to be a positive role model for young women of today.

Where is the most interesting place you have been?
I can’t choose one per say, I believe every destination I’ve been to had its own beauty and uniqueness. But if I was to choose one, Tivoli Garden, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Opportunities to find inner strength within ourselves comes when life seems most challenging. How you choose to face these challenges will truly define one’s character.
