Sabrina is an A+ student studying mathematics and economics. When she is not writing papers at home, practicing math problems at the library, or explaining to her friends the last question on the assignment, she is usually at the gym—with some slides to memorize in her hand.
However, Sabrina does do activities in her spare time, like dance classes or a judo wrestling match.
Sabrina likes to play rough, with emphasis on the play, but understands that when it comes down to school work or her volunteer activities, she gives her complete effort.

What would be your “dream job” in life?
My “dream job” would be governor of the Bank of Canada. The workings of our economy interest me very much, and getting paid to learn, analyze and make decisions that will impact our economy would be a great honour-- I’d do it for free!
List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
I’ve only had one job in my short life which was as a camp counsellor at a judo camp. It was interesting as I was the only female staff and sometimes there would be only one or two girls signed up for the camp. I learned that it can be difficult for a female to stand her ground and get the respect she deserves in a male dominated workplace.
Where is the most interesting place you have been?
As close to the bottom of the earth and wearing a bathing suit simultaneously can bring you-- that is, the tip of Africa. I went to Cape of Good Hope, South Africa when I was young. What I remembered most about this beautiful country was its lax lifestyle. Having baboons steal ones lunch or seeing fifteen people on the back of a 4x4 on the highway was a regular occurrence.
What is your philosophy of/in life?
Bill Gates’ 11 life lessons are words of wisdom I always try to keep at the back of my mind. My favourite is lesson 11, “Be nice to nerds. Chances are you’ll end up working for one,” because it is the only one I don’t have to remind myself, and it is the one that brings justice to my kind. Bill Gates’ 11 life lessons remind me that the adult world is a tough, fast-paced place, and that even though I am not subjected to it now, I better be prepared for it, because it’s coming soon!
