Rana Khaled is a loving, down to earth individual of Syrian origin. Not only is she fearless and motivated, Rana is full of life and unstoppable when it comes to achieving her dreams.
Giving back to her community is important to her, which is why she has volunteered at many events and organized fundraising activities.
Being determined has helped her start, at her own cost, a web-based TV show supporting young entrepreneurs while bringing the Montreal community closer together. She respects each person’s dreams and encourages them to work hard to make them come true.
Working out, maintaining a healthy life style, and filling up her time with activities is very important for Rana. Currently, Rana works as a project manager for 3men@work Integrated Networks.

What would be your “dream job” in life?
- Motivational speaker
- Be a part of the United Nations and have the opportunity to help troubled countries. I would like to feel like i have the opportunity to contribute in making a difference in the world.
- I have a weakness for children and i know many of them are starving, have no place to live or have no families. I would love to start my own organization to help children around the world. Even if i could not help every child but i would love to be able to offer what i can and help by giving them the life, education, and everything else they would be missing out on. Give them a chance at life and opportunities just like all the other children all around the world.
List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
At the age of 18 years old i found a job that required me going door to door and ask families if they wanted to adopt a child from Africa or if they wanted to give any donations. It was surprising how many people would actually adopt a child they have never even seen. It made me realize that the world is a good place after all. And going door to door wasn’t an easy job but the joy you felt after having an individual adopt a child was absolutely priceless.
Where is the most interesting place you have been?
I love traveling and been to many places. Damascus is the oldest city in the world and known as the city of Jasmine. It has important landmarks that i believe everyone should have the chance to see. The streets, little villages, and how the houses are built with art, sophistication and yet so much simplicity. Shopping is outstanding and of course can’t miss the Turkish baths. There is a Variety of Restaurants that offer a very high quality of food that is delicious and prices are extremely low. In Damascus you get to see the different, unique and down to earth culture, the warmth of people, the great history from 100’s of years ago and also the different landmarks that has been noted down in history that you can’t miss out on.
What is your philosophy of/in life?

I truly believe in this. I think the sun shines on you when you are positive and confident of who you are. When you believe in yourself and what you are all of your problems become suddenly so easy and simple to take care of. When you accept yourself the way you are you are accepting others just the way they are. When you love yourself you are opening the door for people that surround you to love you at the same you are opening the door for yourself to love people. In order to see anything beautiful in life from a rose, painting, an animal, the ocean or another person you have to find yourself beautiful.
