What would be your “dream job” in life?
My dream job is to become a leading dietitian/nutritionist, working in media and operating a successful nutrition consulting business. I want to inspire individuals to eat healthier, explore good food, be creative in the kitchen and live active lives. I also wish to work in the community, implementing food and nutrition programs in schools that are very much lacking. My dream job must include making a positive difference in the lives of others.
List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
My most interesting job was being the Nutrition Team Leader in Health Promotion. It allowed me to use my creative ideas and artistic skills in nutrition education and outreach. As a volunteer manager, I was able to encourage volunteers to work on both their strengths and weaknesses in a collaborative and supportive environment. It was a great job!
Where is the most interesting place you have been?
The most interesting place would definitely be Rocca Calascio in the mountains of Abruzzo, Italy. The castle is so beautiful and the mountains are majestic and mesmerizing. This visit gave me a strange epiphany -- motivation to chase my dreams. I cannot wait to visit again, but something tells me it will not be the same as my first experience!
What is your philosophy of/in life?
As human beings we struggle; life puts us through ups and downs. However if you stay true to yourself and your goals in spite of adversity, you truly can get where you want to be. And a positive attitude doesn’t hurt either.
