What would be your “dream job” in life?

I actually have two dream jobs. Because I love to cook and bake, my dream job would be: being the judge on “Iron Chef”.  I just want to taste all the delicious food!

My other dream job would be going on the road with my dad who works for famous musicians. I would love to work as a stylist or a personal assistant.

List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.

I worked for 4 summers during high school at a local ice-cream store.  It’s this cute little white building with red trim straight from the 50’s with the original interior. We serve customers through take-out windows.  When I graduated, my boss took a picture of me in my grad gown making a soft serve. Because my dress was the same colour red as our uniforms, she sent the picture to head office with the joke I was wearing the new uniform -- complete with tiara!

I’ve also changed more diapers than I care to mention in my job of my Mother’s Helper. My dad worked away from home and over the years I earned my diploma in “Domestica 101” helping my mother.  I can cook a meal for eight!

Where is the most interesting place you have been?

In 8th Grade, I travelled to Japan for 10 days.  The entire trip was recorded in detailed photos by the home stay family I was billeted to. When I got home my family was able to see absolutely everything I did when I was there. Because I am from a large family I was “matched” to a “large” Japanese family with three daughters, a grandmother and a cat.  I’ve had a fascination with Japan ever since and would love to return there.

What is your philosophy of/in life?

My philosophy is kindness. Everyone deserves to be loved and everyone deserves to be cared about.  My parents taught me charity begins at home and also, that everyone has different gifts. Because of this, I believe everyone can make a difference and impact the world, maybe, without even realizing it.
