Brooke Boyle

Age: 21 | Height: 5’11″ | Edmonton, AB

A new resident to Edmonton Alberta, twenty one year old Brooke Boyle can still feel the love all the way from LaSalle Ontario where she was born and raised. Being an only child and from a small town there’s nothing but encouragement and support from family and friends on her Miss Canada journey.

At 17 she won the first ever Miss LaSalle pageant, a local pageant which currently still takes place. This is where her doors of opportunity were opened and she was exposed to the modeling and pageant world. The following year Brooke entered the Miss Universe Canada pageant. After placing top 12 she was sent to Beijing China to represent Canada in the Miss Global Beauty pageant.

From here her success only grew, working for RedBull Air Races as a trophy girl and getting signed with an international modeling agency, Brooke was travelling the globe. She can be seen in magazines and fashion shows across Europe, Asia, Japan and even Canada.

Brooke currently works as an Esthetician and Laser Practitioner in a medical spa. This is just one step closer fulfilling her dream opening her own spa in the future. She understands the stresses of a fast paced society and the negative effects it has on the body, so she would like to create an atmosphere for people to come relax and leave the world behind.

When Brooke isn’t modeling or doing pageantry you would most likely find her volunteering for local activities and charities that are close to her heart. Not your typical beauty queen, Miss Boyle’s hobbies would include snowboarding, quading, jet skiing, horseback riding and later this year sky diving. This adrenaline junky loves pushing herself to the limit and seeing what she’s capable of accomplishing, but the best part is being able to watch herself grow as a young woman and encourage and inspire others to chase the dreams and believe in themselves.

What would be your “dream job” in life?

My dream job in life would be not so much a job but a career, something I look forward to going to everyday and builds me up as a person. I would absolutely love to own my own spa and wellness center. I love making people feel great about themselves, in a relaxed stress free environment surrounded by positive people. Followed with my own skin care and make up line.

List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.

It wasn’t an ‘official’ job I had but, when I was younger I was in horseback riding lessons.  I was completely obsessed with horses and never wanted to leave at the end of the day so I would do anything to stay longer. Needless to say the owner started letting me groom the horses, brushing them, feeding them, walking them and even cleaning out there smelly stalls. After a few weeks of that lets just say I wasn’t so eager to stay after class.

Where is the most interesting place you have been?

I think any place I’ve had the opportunity to travel to has been interesting. Each city or country has something unique about it. One place that does stick out to me is China. There are no words that can describe the diversity of this country, it is just amazing. Everything from the food to the shopping experience is just that an experience and adventure.

What is your philosophy of/in life?

Believe in yourself! Dare to be different, take a risk and just try it. No successful person has got ahead by following the footsteps of the person in front of them. Believe in yourself and know that you can do anything you put your heart into. Leave a lasting impression on the people around you.
