Diane was born and raised in Oshawa, Ontario to English parents, who brought her up to be a proper young lady, despite her tomboyish endeavours. She started playing hockey at age 7 and despite her mother’s best efforts to change her focus to dance, she continued playing hockey until leaving for school at age 17 at the University of Guelph, where she studies Kinesiology and is completing her Bachelor of Science degree.
She is also an avid supporter of the soccer teams Manchester United and Toronto FC, and hopes to someday work for them as an athletic therapist, for which she is commencing her studies this coming September at Sheridan College.
Aside from sports, Diane is also passionate in music, having learned to play five instruments in high school and performing regularly for school plays and special events on tenor saxophone and flute. Furthermore, she has attended French Immersion School since Grade 4, and is now fluent in French. Diane loves to travel and experience new cultures and different walks of life, next on her list of things to do are to learn Spanish and to dive with Great White sharks in Australia.
