AGE: 24 | HEIGHT: 5'8" | HOMETOWN: HAMILTON

Alexandria was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario admirably known as “Steel town”. She is very proud to be Canadian, with a culturally diverse Irish-Hungarian-German heritage. In 2007 she graduated from McMaster University with a Degree in Nursing and in January 2010, begins to work towards her Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice (Nurse Practitioner).

Alexandria is presently a critical care nurse, and occasionally works as a standardized patient for the Medical Council of Canada.  As a nurse she understands the importance of a healthy, balanced lifestyle.  Her experiences from the people she has cared for has helped teach her life is unpredictable, fragile and beautiful; and to work hard and live without regrets.

Alexandria has recently been part of a medical relief mission to a rural village in Nepal.  There she provided medical attention to people of all ages and needs, in the nearby villages. Through self reflection she learned many important lessons about herself and others.  From this experience, Alexandria now has aspirations to work for the United Nations.

She is an animal lover and volunteers at the local SPCA as a foster home for animals and as a dog walker. Alexandria supports many other local charities including March of Dimes and the Canadian Red Cross.   She has also run several charity races, most recently to support cancer foundations, hospitals and community centers.

Alexandria cherishes the great outdoors. On a daily basis she tries to preserve and help the environment however she can.  In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching movies, painting, baking and being creative in a variety of expressions.  Alexandria loves travelling, nationally and internationally to learn about new places and cultures. Last summer she got to be the leader at a vacation bible school at a local church, as well as sing in their Christmas choir.  Alexandria earned her black belt in martial arts by 17, and continues to stay fit with cardio kickboxing and trips to the gym.
