Alexandra is a theatre major at the University of Guelph.  She has won several Sears Festival awards for acting, and appeared in the 2007 movie Hairspray.

At the age of 13, she received the Young Heritage Leader award for volunteering, presented by the Lieutenant Governor.  Since then, she has volunteered with many animal charities including the World Wildlife Fund, the Dog Guides of Canada, and the Oakville Humane Society.  She has helped feed the homeless, and this year, was a Project Serve leader at university.

Alexandra is an enthusiastic signer; she is a member of the sign language club at university, and hopes to become a charity interpreter.   Her advice to young girls would be ‘You can make a difference in the world’.
