Tara, who is fluent in English and Farsi, was born in Shiraz, Iran, moved to Canada as a teenager, and settled in Toronto, Ontario where doors of opportunitites opened. Tara is the youngest of 3 siblings. She began her modeling career at the age of 17 and has appeared on the cover of Substance Magazine and has walked the runways of local events such as Toronto Fashion Week and Ottawa Fashion Week.

Tara studies at the University of Toronto, where she is double majoring in Human Biology and Astrophysics.  She also holds a certificate in Cosmetology. She aspires to become a surgeon, specializing in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Tara is also an avid swimmer. She obtained a gold medal in 2000 at the Province Breast Stroke Swimming Competition (Fars, Iran). She achieved first place in the Provincial Math Olympiad of 2002 also in Far, Iran.

Furthermore, Tara has inherited her love of painting and drawing from her mom. She has participated in several painting competitions and earned third place in an oil on canvas regional painting competition in 2001 (Fars, Iran). She also enjoys poetry, rollerblading, baking,designing clothes, and dancing.
