Nikki moved to Canada from Iran at the age of four with her parents and two brothers. She graduated from the University of Toronto, where she completed a double major degree, obtaining an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science in Political Science and Sociology. Nikki is presently working as an occasional teacher for the Board of Education and wants to further her education by pursuing a Master’s Degree.

She was involved in numerous activities as a child and young adult; the most noteworthy was her involvement in gymnastics for over ten years. Nikki competed as a member of the Provincial Team for rhythmic gymnastics and also performed as an Elite member of the Rhythmic Expressions team.

She is fluent in French, English, and Farsi and can also speak a bit of Papiamento (Aruba’s native language).
