Natalie moved out of her hometown Drummondville in Quebec at the age of 17 to come live in Toronto. She is bilingual in French and English. She started school part-time while successfully modeling part-time and working a full-time job in an effort to attain the required credits to enter university.

Natalie was accepted full-time at Ryerson University in the Business Management program, and then she was told that she had a very rare form of cancer. This could have easily derailed her aspirations but she did not let it get her down. She decided to still pursue her education and modeling while receiving chemotherapy.

In May of 2008, the doctors informed her that the treatments had failed and a partial hysterectomy would be required to remove the cancer. The surgery done in June of '08 was successful and she is now well.

In her spare time she also likes to bicycle, go to the gym, read educational books, model, and listen to music.
