Born in Canada to Indian immigrant parents, Mona works as a full-time staff accountant at Canada’s largest accounting firm, Deloitte & Touche, and is also a student member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in pursuit of her CA.  Her foremost ambition is to someday be a good wife and mother.
 
In 2007, she received her Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto.  The academic honour of “High Distinction” was conferred upon her; it was the highest award bestowed upon any student at the convocation.  Prior to that, Mona attended the renowned gifted high school The University of Toronto Schools (UTS), where she graduated with a 90+% OAC average.
 
Mona is a talented vocalist who has showcased solos at weddings and talent shows from a young age.  Mona’s extensive artistic training includes 6 years of classical Indian dance, 6 years of viola and more than 10 years of piano.  She has also produced and composed 16 original songs.
