Danielle Miotto is a 22-year-old graduate of Brock University who has achieved a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biotechnology. Currently, she is pursuing her education at Brock University by working on her Master of Science degree in Biotechnology. With the goal of one day achieving a PhD, Danielle hopes to be an active participant in the search for new drug candidates.   

Born and raised in Thorold, Ontario, Danielle was blessed with a family that had always encouraged her to be all that she could be. Participating in numerous activities as a child and as a teenager, she has learned that being focused, having discipline, being independent, and being a gracious competitor are all very valuable skills. Still to this day Danielle has a passion for figure skating and playing the piano.
