Born to an Estonian mother and a Russian father in Moscow, she left Russia at the age of five. Since then, she has lived with her family in Switzerland and has traveled all over Europe and the US. Alisa was excited when her family decided to make Canada their home. This is also where her baby brother was born.

Alisa believes that learning new things everyday is very important because knowledge is power. She is currently pursuing an Honours' Economics Bilingual Degree from York University. She is fluent in four languages (Russian, French, English, and Italian).

Her love of fashion, modeling experience and leadership skills contributed to her presently managing a boutique. From an early age, Alisa participated in gymnastics. Driven by creativity, she is also an avid singer and poetry writer.

She hopes to educate and inspire other young women to make healthy choices for themselves, by leading a healthy lifestyle herself. Alisa's philosophy is that everyone deserves a chance as long as one works just as much for it, as one dreams about it.
