I'm currently studying at Simon Fraser University, finishing my
bachelor degree in communication studies by April 20th, 2009.

have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two
years?
I have supported the British Columbia Cancer Foundation to
support breakthrough research and enhancements to care at the
British Columbia Cancer Agency.
What would be your "dream
job" in life?
To be a drama actor
Name one person, other
than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life?
Why?
Terry Fox is the most influential person and role model in
my life beside my family. I have learned from him not to take
my healthy life for granted and nothing in life is impossible
even if you have one leg.
What is the proudest personal
accomplishment (other than being in this or any other beauty pageant
competition)
Getting accepted to the University of Simon Fraser and being
able to study in the field that I always liked is one my proudest
personal accomplishments.
What is your career ambition
and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My career ambition has always been the ability to perform
and be an entertainer, but what I like the most is to be a part
of the entertainment industry. Studies of communication and mass
media have been giving me much knowledge to be able to work in
media and entertainment industry for the near future.
Describe where you were
raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in the city of Tehran, Iran where poetry and
7000 years of Persian culture is valued. I have learned to value
the beauty of art, culture, and literature. Raining in such culture
in some extent has been giving me the ability to express myself
in writing my own poems.
List any volunteering you
have done.
I have done 3 months of a volunteer job at River View Hospital
where I used to accompany a patient with mental disability. I
also helped fundraising for the British Columbia Cancer Foundation
to support breakthrough research and enhancements to care at the
British Columbia Cancer Agency.
Where is the most interesting
place you have been?
Montreal was one of the most interesting places that I have
so far been; I like the city structure and the way the buildings
are built which makes the city Unique in its own way.
What makes you unique and
different from the other contestants?
I don't know about other contestant's characteristics, but
what I'm sure about myself is my optimistic and determined attitude
towards my goals and ambitions.
What is your philosophy
of/in life?
My philosophy in life is that if a person truly finds her
or his passion in life and work hard towards it, one day, she/he
will be able to achieve that goal.
What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?
Besides the career accomplishment, I would like to learn to
speak more languages and travel the world, meet all different
kinds of people with different culture, but more importantly be
able to make a difference in people's lives and be more involved
in charities regarding cancer, and poverty. I believe that in
10 years I can have everything in life that I want if I help others
to get what they want.
Is there anything
you would like to tell us about yourself? Something unique that
has happened to you? Some interesting thing about you?
With each year that passes by, I find something new about myself.
For instance, one of the recent discoveries about me has been
a perseverant attitude towards life and things that I want to
achieve. Life is full of unpredictable outcomes which sometimes
can be overwhelming, but for me challenges can be overcome with
hard work, believing in one's self and optimistic attitude.
