Born and raised in Russia, Ksenia immigrated to Canada as a teenager with her parents to whom she is really grateful for the opportunity to live in this wonderful country. Her first year in Canada was really hard for her and her family with no language, jobs and friends; however, Ksenia is really proud of her family and herself for successfully adopting to the Canadian environment.

As a student of York University, International Studies program, Ksenia’s career ambition is to become a diplomat. She is really passionate about it and believes she will succeed in this career because she lives her life with a diplomatic approach to everything.

What would be your "dream job" in life?
I am currently a student of International Studies Program, which will lead me to my "dream job", being a diplomat. I live my life with a diplomatic approach to everything; therefore, I believe I will succeed in this career.


Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life? Why?
This would be my boyfriend, Sasha, thanks to whom I looked at the world from a different point of view. He taught me to be confident and never stop dreaming and achieving my goals; to be strong and help others.


What is the proudest personal accomplishment (other than being in this or any other beauty pageant competition)
I am really proud to have my friends, who are always there to support me. I believe that if you want people around you to be nice and helpful you should treat them the way you would like to be treated. Therefore, having such amazing friends and people around me is my proudest accomplishment.


What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
I am currently a student of International Studies Program, which will lead me to my "dream job", being a diplomat. I live my life with a diplomatic approach to everything; therefore, I believe I will succeed in this career.


Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was born in a city of Yekaterinburg, Ural Mountains, in Russia. My childhood was bright, although my mother and I had to live on our own because my father left us when I was 3 years old. However, my mother, my grandparents, and my aunt made sure that I had everything and was well educated and was doing my favorite thing, dancing. My mother was always very positive, supportive, inspiring, and helpful, which let me go through any difficulties very easily.


List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
Thanks to my modeling job, I have experienced lots of different and unusual things. One of the most interesting jobs I have ever had was a photo shoot under the water in the pool. It was very hard to manage to pose and give right face expressions under the water, however, the pictures turned out to be great with big smiles and opened eyes. This is definitely, something I will never forget my whole life and would like to experience once again.

I have done lots of shows and photo shoots for many magazines and designers.

Where is the most interesting place you have been?
I have had an amazing opportunity to travel around the world, and I must say that each place, each country, and each city is fascinating in its own way. Taiwan was a very interesting country to visit, where I experienced a life of a local person, and was really fascinated by its beautiful rain forests and sceneries. However, I must say Russia is a very interesting place with lots of history, and different corners of the country resemble something new, different, beautiful, and charming.


What makes you unique and different from the other contestants?
I believe, that in this competition every single girl is unique and beautiful inside and out. I live my life with a very positive approach to everything, stepping over any difficulties that come on my way, and moving forward. I always hope for the best and smile at every moment of my life.


What is your philosophy of/in life?
Be positive, be confident, respect and help others. Everything comes back. Enjoy every second of your life and the whole world will seem to be brighter.


What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?
In 10 years I hope to have a family and children, being a successful career woman and an amazing mother and wife.


Is there anything you would like to tell us about yourself? Something unique that has happened to you? Some interesting thing about you?
I love children and I would really like to help poor and homeless kids, as well as to have many children myself.
