Are you currently employed? If yes, what is your occupation?
I work as an aesthetician at a high end spa doing manicures, pedicures, facials, make up, etc.
I also work as a waitress (part time) at a golf course.
Have you completed secondary school? If yes, where?
Yes I went to St. Thomas of Villanova in LaSalle in 2007.
List any special training you have had (music, art, drama, dance, etc).
I went to Barbizon Modeling School, as well as hip hop dance lessons.
In what sports, if any, have you participated and how long have you participated in each sport?
I played baseball and volleyball all throughout my childhood. I can no longer play sports competitively because I had a bad accident with my foot.

What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years?
I support Windsor Essex Humane Society, as well as run/walk for breast cancer.
What would be your "dream job" in life?
My dream job would be to own my own spa chain and having my own brand of make-up and skin care line.
Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life? Why?
Other than my parents, I can’t say that one person has had the most influence on my life. Every person that I develop a relationship or friendship with influences me in one way or another, some more than others. I believe I am the person today by having an open mind and by creating your path instead of following in the footsteps of others.
What is the proudest personal accomplishment (other than being in this or any other beauty pageant competition)?
I put on a fashion show all by myself. I got sponsors, prizes, clothes, and charities all by myself. It was the most incredible thing I’ve ever done, and it turned out well!
What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My career ambition is the same as my dream job, only instead of it being a dream I’m going to make it a reality by marketing myself, and taking every opportunity that comes to me. Just like this pageant, it’s only going to help my dream come true!
Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I had an awesome childhood. I was an only child, and Barbie’s were my life (what more could you ask for!J) I was very close with my family and we would always do everything together, whether it be tobogganing, boating, tubing, game nights, camping, dinners you name it, it was all done as a family. Mind you my mom and dad aren’t together so I can’t say it was the happiest childhood because I never understood why my parents couldn’t be together.
List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
It wasn’t an ‘official job’ but in the summer I used to horseback ride. I loved it so much that I would do anything to stay there longer than I was supposed to. So the owner would have me clean out all the stalls, shovel manure, feed them, groom them, and walk them. It was a lot of fun, but I wouldn’t want to be doing it again.
List any volunteering you have done.
When I was Miss LaSalle ’07 I tried to volunteer for as much as I could. I worked at the Carousel of the Nations in the children’s village painting faces and doing crafts. I also attended various events that they requested Miss LaSalle at.
Where is the most interesting place you have been?
Dominican Republic (Puerto Plata). It’s really close to Haiti so seeing how third world countries live, had opened my eyes tremendously! I learned not to take anything for granted and cherish every moment/thing you have because other people may not have what you do.
What makes you unique and different from the other contestants?
The difference between me and the other contestants is that they’re going to follow in the footsteps of the person before them; I am going to make my own. My outlook on life makes me different from the others. I’m not typical and I strive to be different. I don’t like to be a follower, I’m a natural born leader and I will only lead in the right direction. I’m very down to earth and very optimistic. My ‘dreams’ are more like goals; it’s just a matter of time before I reach them.
What is your philosophy of/in life?
Dare to be different. People in history didn’t get there being the same as the person next to them. They took a stand, and made an impact on the people around them.
What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?
Ten years, I would like to be a successful model, starting my own spa franchise as well as make-up and skin care line. And helping out at this pageant in some way!!
Is there anything you would like to tell us about yourself? Something unique that has happened to you? Some interesting thing about you?
I like playing the comedian role, people laughing is my favourite sound…just as long as there not laughing at me! As well as I am an animal lover, there the key to my heart everything from fish and snakes to bunnies and kittens, I love all creatures big and small. Unfortunately I don’t consider bugs to be animals; therefore I am not too fond of them.
