Ting is 23 years old.  She immigrated to Canada at age 12, from China.  She loves multicultural Canada.  Ting graduated from University of Toronto and obtained Bachelor of Engineering and Applied Science.  She works at a design firm as an engineer-in-training. 

Ting is also a swimming instructor and a lifeguard.  She enjoys dancing, painting, calligraphy, tennis, karate, cooking, and fundraising.  Ting likes cherry picking and fishing with her family and friends. 

Ting believes that women should not only have a beautiful body and an intelligent mind, but also possess a compassionate heart and a positive attitude towards life.  Ting hopes to become a role model for women.  She wants to travel around Canada and the world, advocating AIDS awareness.
