Emily Hoddinott was born on August 7th, 1985. She spent her childhood in Prince George, BC in a single-family home with her mom and her sister. After graduating high school, Emily decided to travel to England and Australia.

During the 7 months that she was in Australia, she had the opportunity to do a modeling class and a photo shoot. Because of this opportunity, Emily is pursuing further her interests in modeling.

Emily is a fitness-oriented person, who enjoys outdoor activities, such as camping, hiking, and jogging. In her spare time she enjoys catching up with friends and family, taking dance classes, and working out at the gym. She is a passionate, outgoing person who is always ready to face any challenge life may bring.

Emily always tries to view life in a positive manner and attempt to live life to the fullest. She believes in staying fit and healthy and makes it an important part of her life. Currently Emily is taking classes to become a fitness trainer in the hopes of opening her own fitness centre.

What would be your "dream job" in life?
My dream job in life would be to own my own fitness club and to be a fitness trainer.

Name one person, other than your parents, who has had the most influence on your life? Why?
Christine and Gordon Davis, they have been supportive of my pursuits and they have been a positive influence in my life, attending events and being excellent listeners when necessary.

What is the proudest personal accomplishment (other than being in this or any other beauty pageant competition)?
My proudest personal accomplishment is traveling to Australia and experiencing the beautiful country.

What is your career ambition and what are you doing or plan to do to accomplish that goal?
My career ambition would be to own my very own fitness centre to help people to being healthy, and to get that goal I am taking fitness classes at the YMCA to be a fitness trainer.

Describe where you were raised and what your childhood was like.
I was raised in Prince George, BC. My childhood was spent in a single-family home with my mom and my sister. Most of my mother's family lives in England and Australia and because of that a huger part of my childhood was spent with my mom's best friend and their family. We spent summers camping and swimming, winters sledding and time with each other.

List any interesting or unusual jobs you may have had.
I work in Australia and I found that really interesting to me because it's totally different there then it is over here in Canada. Just working with Australian people was really interesting to me, learning new things from them everyday.

List any volunteering you have done.
I volunteered at the SPCA, helping with the animals

Where is the most interesting place you have been?
The most interesting place I have been would be Australia.

What makes you unique and different from the other contestants?
I have a positive outgoing, outgoing personality and I'm ready to face any challenges that life may bring. In any situation, I can either overcome the issue myself or work as part of a team to correct the problem.

What is your philosophy of/in life?
My philosophy in life is to always stay positive and live life to the fullest.

What do you hope to be doing in 10 years?
I hope to be a successful personal trainer, and to own a fitness club in a beautiful sunny place.
