19 year old Simranjit is from Ancaster, Ontario. She is currently undergoing her final year of undergrad in Life Sciences at McMaster University. Thereafter, she will further pursue her education in becoming an Optometrist. Her dream has always being to become part of the entertainment industry, either modeling or acting, and she feels that becoming part of this prestigious event will help to obtain her all time goal.

In 2004, Simranjit was crowned ‘Miss India Canada Worldwide 2004’ and in January of 2005 she traveled to Mumbai, India to represent Canada internationally competing for the title of ‘Miss India Worldwide’ where she place on the top 10. She competed with 29 other delegates representing the same number of countries including Australia, China and South Africa.

Recently, Simranjit was crowned Miss India Canada 2006 and is now the reigning queen in the South Asian community. This is an enormous achievement she has gained, and will surely help her in her future endeavors in life.

Simranjit loves to stay active by going to the gym, playing tennis, and swimming. Simran also enjoys spending quality time with her close family and friends. She takes a huge interest in fashion, music, and traveling. Experiencing diverse cultures and meeting new people from around the world is something she takes great pleasure in.
