24 year old Samantha was born in Iran. At age 2 she moved to Canada. Samantha grew up in Vancouver with her parents and younger brother. She then moved to Toronto, where she commenced her modeling career. She studied cosmetology and since then has received several awards at hair shows. Throughout all of her great achievements she has always managed to maintain a close relationship with her family and friends.

Samantha has a passion for modeling and also enjoys dancing, traveling, skating and keeping active. One of Samantha's attributes is that she posses great leadership skills. She has been able to create many social events in Toronto's competitive entertainment industry by managing and directing many events. On her spare time she spends a lot time participating and organizing events to raise money for non-profit organizations, helping to find a cure within the AIDS and Cancer community of Toronto.  Samantha’s ability to maintain a positive attitude towards life, and eagerness to constantly expand her knowledge, has given her great pride for the career and life she is leading.

Samantha believes god has blessed everyone of us with life and we should not take things for granted but instead savor the moments, and use our advantages to help others with disadvantages. There are many reasons why Samantha has always dreamed to be part of Miss Universe and represent Canada, one being the known fact that her country has always been a place where all people are treated equally, where differences are encouraged and appreciated, where people are inspired to speak without the harsh judgments of others. Representing such a beautiful and welcoming country would be an honorary experience that would never be forgotten.
