18 year old Julia Mulyar was born in Ukraine and moved to Canada at the age of 8. She lives in Toronto but has moved around a lot which made her very social. Her keen interests lie in piano, the arts and ballet which she has studied for over two years. She is attending UTSC where she studies life sciences and Human Biology. Julia’s future aspirations are to become a family doctor and specialize in the field of psychiatry, hoping to work with children, and perhaps adults.

She is very active in various organizations that assist third world countries such as ‘Brick-by-Brick’, in association with ‘Free the Children’ foundation. Julia has participated in numerous runs/walks for cancer, and was a volunteer at the recent AIDS conference of 2006 right here in Toronto.

Julia loves working with children, and has volunteered for over 2 years in the community assisting children with their homework. She is a strong believer that all children need a good foundation and have the potential to do well in school. Julia is a well rounded and cultured individual who loves sports, such as rugby, hockey and soccer, and supports the teams each year.
