24 years old Daniela was born in Brazil and is currently studying International Business at George Brown College. She speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese as her first language. Daniela grew up in a home where love for family and friends was the key to living a full life and she continues with that same passion today. She is generous and kind in the most fundamental ways and gives of herself to the people she meets and to the causes that are most important to her. Her ambition gives her the energy to develop her career and Education.

Daniela's philosophy is to look for inspiration and to learn from the stories told by her elder generation. This gives her strength to share in her volunteer work with kids that have special needs where she can offer some compassion, fun and a cheery smile to help get them through the day.

Laughter with a sense of style and a flair for fashion, she is a modern woman with feminine charms, skills and social graces of an era gone by. She loves the flash of the photographers' camera, fine clothing and style, but makes time for sport, dance and community involvement. She has developed fine culinary skills influenced by her travels, and enjoys her part time work serving guests at a refined restaurant almost as much as modeling and her work in the fashion industry. Daniela's goal is to continue her studies towards a career in international business with focus on import and export of fashion goods and accessories.

Participating in this event has been an opportunity to advance her personal development and humanitarian goals, while having fun and helping others. Daniela is proud to promote the beauty and intelligence of women as a contestant for Miss Universe Canada, and to help represent the positive qualities of style and elegance in the fields of entertainment, arts and fashion design.
