Alexis is a 23 year old native of Hamilton who moved to Newmarket at age 12.  A recent graduate of Seneca College, she is employed by MAC cosmetics where she enjoys the opportunity to develop her creative skills as a make-up artist. Her future plans include leveraging her experience with MAC to establish her own business helping others to address challenges including Vitiligo.

If she were to win Miss Universe Canada, she would encourage people to make the most of what they can be. She would raise awareness on the physical and emotional challenges of Vitiligo which affects many people around the world including her.

In addition to spending time with family and friends, her leisure interests include piano, dance, baton, squash, skydiving and staying fit. She finds fulfillment in helping others and highly values family and strong morals.
