Yulia was born in Ukraine, but spent most of her childhood in Russia. When she was a child her activities were, school, taking piano lessons and going to swimming practices.
When she was a teenager, her family moved to Montreal. The change was very radical, especially in the language, since other than knowing a little English, she didn’t speak a word in French. It took her sometime to learn it properly, but she felt very proud once she grasped it.
After finishing Pere-Marquette High school, Yulia went to Maisonneuve College in a Health Science program. In the mean time, she became a lifeguard. After College, she was accepted at UQAM in Law. This is her second year in this program and she enjoys studying law very much, as she knows that laws influence many aspects of our lives.
After finishing her bachelor degree in 2008,
Yulia intends on going to the Quebec Bar Association and
to start practicing after completing her internship.
