Stephanie Brennan is an enthusiastic and career driven woman, who looks forward to a new challenge each day.  Born and raised in Newfoundland, two years ago she packed her bags to take her career to new heights. 

A graduate of the Atlantic Media Institute in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Stephanie was working part time in the radio industry while attending school.  Before she had completed her diploma she was offered full time work as a morning show co-cost and news anchor in Bathurst, New Brunswick.

Moving away from home was difficult for her, but becoming a resident of New Brunswick was a thrill.  She loves the outdoors, and with New Brunswick’s vast wilderness she spends most of her spare time there.  Her passion for writing transfers from her personal life to her work life.

Stephanie plans to let unexpected opportunities direct her career.  She’s found a field that she loves, and can’t imagine doing anything else with her life.  It’s the excitement of not knowing what’s around the corner is what she loves most about her career as a broadcast journalist.

Miss Universe Canada is one of those unexpected opportunities that Stephanie hopes to take advantage of.  She sees it as her opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and have the opportunity to relay the message that if you can dream something, you can accomplish it with passion, dedication and hard work.
