Simranjit Singh is from Ancaster, ON. She is currently undergoing her third year of undergrad in Life Sciences at McMaster University. After successfully completing her Honours Bsc, she will further pursue her education by attending optometry school, to become an Optometrist.

She was recently crowned Miss India Canada 2006 and she is now the reigning queen in her South Asian community. This is an enormous achievement that she gained, and will surely help her attain her dream of becoming a model/actress in the entertainment industry. In 2004, she was also crowned “Miss India Canada Worldwide 2004”, in Toronto. In January 2005, she traveled to Mumbai, India to compete internationally for the “Miss India Worldwide” pageant, where she placed in the top ten. She competed against 30 other countries from around the world, including Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa.

Simranjit absolutely loves to stay active by going to the gym, playing tennis, and swimming. She also enjoys spending quality time with her close family and friends. She takes a vast interest in fashion, music, and traveling. Experiencing diverse cultures and meeting new people from around the world is something that she also takes great pleasure in.
