Twenty year old Nicte-ha Solis was born in Cancun, Mexico and came to Canada when she was just two months old.  Raised by a Mexican father and a Canadian mother, Nicki has been brought up experiencing the beauties of both Mexican and Canadian culture.  She speaks both English and Spanish, the latter of which she majors in at the University of Victoria, in addition to studying towards a double minor in Business and Women’s Studies. 
 
A natural performer, Nicki competed in figure skating for many years before turning to triathlon and then rowing at the varsity level for her university.  She often sings the national anthem for sporting events in her city and would one day love to perform for an international event.

With her genuine and compassionate nature, her signature smile and strong work ethic, Nicki hopes to one day become an inspiration and positive role model to women in Canada.

Nicki is truly honored to be a part of such an event, and wishes all the delegates of the Miss Universe Canada Pageant all the best in achieving their dreams, and a lifetime of successes in their future endeavors.
