Meghann was born in Vancouver and has lived in British Columbia her whole life. She is the second youngest of four girls. Having been home schooled she spent a lot of time with her sisters growing up and considers them her best friends.
Since her first kinder ballet class at the age of three Meghann hasn’t stopped dancing, winning many awards along the way. She trained in Jazz, Tap, R.A.D Ballet & I.S.T.D Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. Meghann loves her work teaching dance and drama to local youth over forty hours a week at The Young At Arts in Langley and Abbotsford Dance Centre. She strives to be a positive, ethical role model to her students, and often finds herself giving them guidance as they struggle with becoming young women. Meghann stays active in the local arts community and has choreographed several musicals and pantomimes for community theatres. Meghann is currently taking her Real Estate Licensing course through UBC.
Meghann believes that being involved in the Miss Universe Canada Pageant is an exciting experience every young girl dreams of, and by doing so hopes to be an inspiration to her students. She wants to be a positive role model for young girls to show them that they don’t have to compromise their innocence and morals to be noticed.
Meghann would like to thank her family for their continued love and support, and her sponsors for enabling her to pursue this dream.
