Laxmi is a vivacious, energetic and optimistic person who maintains that in order to get the most out of life you have to take advantage of every possible opportunity. She tries to be compassionate and understanding towards everyone she meets and lives by the motto "In life you will be defined not by what you have but by what you have done." 

She is interested in a career in Public Relations and is currently working towards finishing her Bachelor's in Economics and French at the University of Toronto. She would love to continue on and complete her MBA to enhance her knowledge of business. Laxmi also plans on traveling to Egypt and England in the coming year, having already been to India, France, Cuba and Greece. Half East Indian, half Scottish, Laxmi is fascinated by all cultures of the world.  One day she hopes to visit every continent on earth...even Antartica!!!

Laxmi was raised by parents who were very involved in their community and instilled in her the importance of giving back. She has been involved with many different charities that involve youth programs. She would like to raise money for after school programs and local sports organizations because she believes that many valuable lessons can be learned from sports and volunteering.

Laxmi tries to stay active by playing soccer which she has played her whole life she also enjoys working out at the gym and swimming. Laxmi is an advocate for an active lifestyle, even though she has a weakness for chocolate and sweets.

She would like to express her sincere thanks to her parents and wonderful sisters.  As well as everyone else who has supported and encouraged her, Nick, Nina, Lisa, Donna, Tawfik.
