Giuliana was born in Montreal and grew up in Rosemere. She is currently studying Marketing at Concordia University. She also has a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Design.
Giuliana is of Canadian and Italian origin and is the youngest of four children. She is a very outgoing person and is an extremely loving and caring individual.
Giuliana takes great pleasure in reading and learning about current events. Her favorite sports include swimming, scuba diving and soccer. She enjoys going for long walks with her dog Tyson and likes the freedom and boldness of motorcycle riding. She enjoys listening to 80’s music; one of her favorite group’s is Depeche Mode.
She loves spending quality time with her family and cherishes her long term friendships. Giuliana has traveled to many different places and wishes to continue doing so in order to experience different cultures.
If chosen to become Miss Universe Canada, Giuliana would use her voice to bring awareness to certain issues that she holds close to her heart; education, conjugal violence, self esteem and self-worth for young women. Knowledge and awareness of Global Warming is also an important issue she wants to educate Canadians on, so they can know about the things they can do to help our environment and preserve our beautiful planet for many future generations.
Giuliana has and will continue to help support Breast Cancer charities across Canada. Her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer 11 years ago and ever since then has motivated Giuliana to be more active in Breast Cancer events in Montreal . Child labor and poverty in third world countries are also issues that Giuliana believes need our attention. Very few things give Giuliana a sense of satisfaction or accomplishment as helping others whether it be giving financial aid or volunteering her time.
Giuliana is currently sponsoring a young boy in Jamaica after meeting him last year and falling in love with his warm hearted personality and his innocence. She was touched to learn that with so little financial means he was still so content.
