Elisabeth Mihou, half Greek and half Quebecoise, is a young professional that already has her first footstep in the fashion industry. She graduated from the Fashion Design program from Lasalle College in 2002. Currently, she manages a busy schedule between her job as an assistant buyer for Le Château and attending university to obtain her bachelor degree in Industrial Management of Clothing. The next step in her life will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.

As a lover of languages, Elisabeth can communicate fluently in French, English and Greek. She also understands Spanish and she is currently learning Chinese.

Always smiling, Elisabeth is passionate and positive. She dreams of one day owning an international clothing company that will manufacture and produce in Canada. She wishes to become a role model for other companies and to motivate them to keep the fashion industry alive in Canada.

As Miss Universe Canada, she hopes to bring a greater awareness to the public regarding sweatshops around the world. Giving the opportunity to be heard, she hopes to make a real difference and bring a smile to as many faces as she can.

Elisabeth would like to thank her family and friends for always being there for her, and a very special thanks to all of her sponsors for being so supportive.
