Connie D’Angelo is a very warm and passionate person. Hard work, perseverance, dedication and commitment are things that she practices each day. She is a positive person who strives to make the people around her happy.
Connie is a Dean’s List student in her fourth year at Carleton University, where she is pursuing an Honours Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Psychology and a Minor in French. She is also working towards a Certificate in French Language Teaching and Learning (C.F.L.T.L). In the future, she hopes to be a Supreme Court Judge.
Connie loves to travel, learn new languages, meet new people and experience new cultures. Family and friends are the most important things to her; therefore, she enjoys spending as much time as she can with them. In her spare time, she enjoys working out at her local gym, cooking, scrapbooking and reading books on such topics as psychology, health and nutrition. She also enjoys shopping, interior decorating, architecture and fashion design.
Lending a helping hand to those in need (whether it be a friend or a stranger) is also an extremely important part of her life. Over the years, she has volunteered for various charities and organizations including: The Easter Seals society, the annual cheo teddy bear’s picnic, Villa marconi (retirement home), St. Augustine’s Elementary School and the Ontario Court of Justice.
Nothing would make her happier than to be
chosen to represent this beautiful country (of which she
is so proud to call home) and it’s culturally diverse
people at the Miss Universe Competition. At the age
of 22, Connie is ready and excited to face the new challenges
that such an amazing opportunity would present her with.
