Ashley Ebner is 19 years old and studying Business Communications at Brock University. She has extensive background in the publishing industry, working both as a published writer and in advertising sales for numerous Canadian publications.

This summer Ashley interned for the television network ‘MTV Canada’ where the producers agreed to her pitch for a multi-episode television segment, which would follow her as she prepares herself both physically and mentally leading up to the pageant.

Ashley loves challenging herself and has competed on teams including the RCYC’s racing team and a provincial synchronized swimming team. If Ashley were to win the title of Miss Universe Canada, she plans on focusing on issues including drug abuse, poverty and AIDS prevention by working closely with the media to generate awareness.
