About Teresa: An Ontario scholar, currently studying at the University for Toronto where Teresa is dedicated to her Pre-law major to complete her degree and eventually realize her goal of attending Law school.

Outside of her full schedule which is packed with school, work, and dance, Teresa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Teresa is able to spend the summer time learning the values and perspectives of distinct cultures throughout the world while touring and developing her modeling career. She has always found time to speak and work with young adults and children about her life experiences. Teresa spends her spare time counseling young troubled adults and taking preventative measures to guide them down the right path.

Interests: Teresa has danced all her life in many different aspects of dance. She has competed in numerous dance competitions from hip hop to ballroom and having much success in all aspects. Teresa has always been an athlete in many sports including volleyball, basketball, and track and field. She has also won Athlete of the Year, and was the Most Valuable Player in two of her sports. Teresa has placed first consecutively in many of her Track and Field events.


What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

Going camping in the rain. I had to sleep in the car because of the freezing cold weather.

What would be your “dream job” in life?

I would like to become a successful lawyer while maintaining a family. On the side, I would like to open my own modeling company to share my experience with younger individuals.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a Miss Universe Canada contestant) that makes you especially proud.

Applied to 5 different universities receiving full scholarship to all with the exception of one.

What is the most important thing you want people to know about you?

I am a very ambitious person, full of love for my family and friends. I love kids and enjoy working with people. I believe in equality and look at things from all perspectives.

What is your favorite movie, song, sport, and food?

Movie: The notebook

Sport: Volleyball

Food: Anything tasty (Love fruit)

What would you like to accomplish if you win the Miss Universe Canada Title?

I would like to work with young children who had a rough childhood (divorced parents and its effects). It is a great opportunity to promote Canada as a diverse country and become a role model for young children who are aspiring models. To promote nutrition and a healthy lifestyle.
