What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

I’m currently taking Pole Dance Aerobics at Flirty Girl Fitness.

What charity/ Charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years?

Most recently, I put on a fashion show (Urban Jungle) in support of the Jamaica Foundation of Hamilton. The organization sponsors a home for orphaned children in Jamaica and gives aid to Jamaicans in Canada and in Jamaica in times of crises. I currently work for a program in Rexdale, Ontario called “Breaking the Cycle.” We are a Gang Exit and Youth Leadership project of the Canadian Training Institute. I also had the opportunity to volunteer at the chum city wish fund, packing Christmas gifts for kids.

What would be your “dream job” in life?

Ideally, if given the opportunity I would love to travel and host Gala’s in support of worthy causes. I have a knack for hosting opulent affairs.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a Miss Universe Canada contestant) that makes you especially proud.

My current position as a caseworker with “Breaking the Cycle” makes me very proud. This position has given me the opportunity to be on the front line, fighting to give young people a voice and an opportunity that they may never have otherwise had. I’ve watched young people make the kind of changes in their lives that so many have told them they could never make.

What is the most important thing you want people to know about you?

I want people to know that I firmly believe in the strength of a woman to be a catalyst for change. I want most of all in life not to just identify issues; I want to be a part of the solution. I want to be an example of what one woman can do with determination and unwavering faith.

What is your favorite movie, song, sport, and food?

My 2 favourite movies of all time are Dangerous Liaisons and The Game. My favourite song is Forever Mine by the O’Jays. I’m not much of a sports enthusiast. I absolutely love Thai Food.

What would you like to accomplish if you win the Miss Universe Canada Title?

In light of the recent gun violence in the city of Toronto, I would like to ensure that “Breaking the Cycle” has adequate resources to effectively run programs for Gang involved youth. I would also like the opportunity to travel and speak to young people about leadership.

A motto that has served you as inspiration.

Tact is the art of making a point, without making an enemy.
