About Isobel: Isobel graduated high school early and on the Dean’s list, she is finishing up the last few credits needed for her Bachelor of Business administration with a major in marketing. She is also currently looking into MBA programs that are close to home.

Isobel took sometime off from her studies when she landed her dream job as the Ambassador for the Molson Indy Vancouver to the Honda Indy in Australia. She travelled the world with the CART series which presented her with the opportunity to (help) raise millions for charities around the globe. “My job with the CART series began my soul searching….somewhere in Cambodia I found the meaning and purpose of life, to make a difference in the lives of others. I now make sure that the priorities at the top of my list are the important ones…the ones that will truly matter when our time here on earth is done”

Interests: Isobel loves skiing, sleeping in on weekends, reading non-ficiton business books and baking cookies with her mom.

What would be your "dream job" in life?

Option #1) Be the CEO/Tycoon of a fitness empire with my own line of supplements, infomercials, books, a TV show, a magazine and a franchise of gyms. This way on a daily basis I would not only be creating meaning and purpose in my own life but also in the lives of others millions of other across the globe.

Option #2) Some how convince the United Nations to replace me as the United Nations Good Will Ambassador when Angelina Jolie’s moving on from her current posting.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a Miss Universe Canada contestant) that makes you especially proud.

I won a beauty contest/model search called “Miss Indy” which gave me an international platform to utilize in order to raise money for a large variety of charities. To this day, I am in awe of some of the massive amounts of money that we were able to raise. At one charity gala held in Australia we auctioned off an Indy drivers Helmut for 50,000$. Without winning that title I would have never been given the opportunity to make such an impact on so many important issues. I thank God for giving me such an amazing opportunity.

What is the most important thing you want people to know about you? T

his is one of the most difficult questions that I have ever tried to answer in my life…… I would have to say that I am far from another pretty face and that I am a woman of substance and integrity.

What is your favourite movie, song, sport, and food?

Movie: The count of Monti Cristo

Song: “The Prayer” by Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli

And "Luxurious" by Gwen Stefani

Sport: Watching auto racing and my sad attempt at participating in golf (I am just learning)

Food: my Mom’s Chicken fajitas, Diet Coke and Safeway select Chocolate banana ice cream with brownie chunks

What would you like to accomplish if you win the Miss Universe Canada title?

I would like to maximize the fundraising efforts and fully utilize the platform that comes along with the title “Miss Universe Canada “so millions could be raises for charities around the globe. Some charities seem to hit closer to home and I would like one of the Charities that I focus on to include China Care (http://www.chinacare.org/)

A motto that has served you as inspiration.

"Work hard, play hard" and “God makes everything happen for a reason”. And another favourite quote that my sister and I always seem to end up saying to one another is “Do I look PHAT in this??????
