What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

One day during the winter, my friend and I wanted to light the fireplace. I didn’t know that I had to turn on the knob to open the chimney. Instead of the wood burning, there was smoke coming out into the whole house. In matter of minutes, the room became all white and the smoke rose up to the ceiling. The fire alarm went off and fire trucks came to our residence (my parents were away). Thank God, no damage was done, although the smoke and smell remained in the walls for many weeks.

What Charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over the past two years?

In the past few years I have been supporting the FQDI (Fondation Québécoise de la Déficience Intellectuelle). I also partake in different events held in the Ukrainian Community in Montreal, the most popular being the annual Ukrainian Festival of Montreal held every September. When called upon, I serve meals to seniors at my church.

What would be your dream job in life?

My dream job in life would have to involve achieving my goal of becoming a dentist. With such an essential need by all, I would love to open many affordable dental clinics to help those in need.

Name one personal accomplishment that makes you proud.

My biggest accomplishment was becoming a Canadian citizen. As of the age of 6, I started a new life in a new country. In these past years, I have learned two new languages, created a circle of new friends, bonded to a family, adapted to a whole new way of life and am in the throws of accomplishing a higher level of education.

What is the most important thing you want people to know about you?

I am a very loyal person and am always there for anyone in need. I see things in a positive light, never give up and always try to make the best of a situation. I treat people with respect and comprehension. I am a creative individual, am non-judgmental and was raised with a sense of discipline that will always stay part of me.

What is your favorite movie, song, food and sport?

My favorite movie would have to be Bad Boys 2 with the actor Will Smith.
Favorite song “Can’t live without you” by Mariah Carey.
Favorite sport would be tennis
Favorite food would be Chinese

What would you like to accomplish if you win the Miss Universe Canada title?

I would like to convey a message to all Canadians -- to proudly always be yourself, to never give up on your dreams, strive towards achieving your goals and to always aim higher in your personal accomplishments. I would also like to talk to youth about current problems that we encounter in society and how we can manage them in order to make our lives better.

A motto that has served you as inspiration?

To accomplish great things, we must not only dream but also act; not only plan, but also believe
