Galyna just graduated from George Brown College with a diploma in Travel and Tourism (with a GPA of 3.5 and received a Deans Appreciation Letter). She is going to continue her education at either Ryerson or York University next year studying the field of Broadcast Journalism. She would like to combine her diploma and a degree so that in the future she can host a TV show about travelling.

Galyna was born in Ukraine and moved to Canada with her parents as a teenager. She speaks Ukrainian, Russian, English and some French. She used to dance proffessional ballet for six years as well as jazz and hip-hop ).
