| Dawne
attended St. Mary's University in Nova Scotia on a public
speaking scholarship, where she majored in French Literature.
She then travelled to New York to study acting with
20th Century Fox and returned to Toronto where she works
today as an actress unionized by ACTRA. Presently, she
is studying comedy and improvisation with the renowned
Second City Theatre Company.
Dawne is heavily involved in volunteer work. She enjoyed
teaching grade 6 Sunday school and was the photographer
for the RCMP Cop Card Program promoting community based
policing. Dawne is currently devoting her focus to Sheena's
Place, by providing hope and support to those suffering
from eating disorders, and as a motivational speaker
to young children by speaking out against the disease.
