What would be your dream job?

My dream job would be to work with people with similar interests and work on projects that can really change other people’s life. A job that gives me the opportunity to change somebody’s life for the better, which can help me reach all my potential and at the same time contribute to society, would definitely make it my dream job. I truly believe becoming Miss Universe Canada is certainly a job that falls within the description of my dream job.

Name one personal accomplishment that makes you especially proud.

As soon as I graduated from college with honours and receiving the highest number of awards in the accounting department, I found a permanent job related to my field, was able save enough money to purchase a home with my father and during this time I became Miss Hispanidad 2004.

What is the most important thing you want people to know about you?

I am a person who finds beauty in everybody’s flaws. I am a simple, peaceful person. I like to give people more than what they expect and do it happily and with pleasure. I believe selfishness will only lead to failure in life.

What is your favourite movie, song, sport, and food?

Song: “There is a Hero” by Mariah Carey

Sport: Soccer and Volleyball

Food: Seafood

What would you like to accomplish if you win the Miss Universe Canada title?

I would like to represent proudly the country that welcomed my family and millions of other immigrants with open arms. I want to showcase the multiculturalism as a source of unity and pride. I want Canadians to appreciate the rich and diverse roots of our country, and broadened our understanding of the contributions generations of immigrants have made to Canada.

I would also like to raise awareness on different issues such as:

Promoting Education

Promoting gender equality and empowering women

Improving maternal health

Combating HIV/AIDS

Contributing to environmental sustainability

A motto that has served you as inspiration?

Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
