What is the craziest thing you have ever
done?
The craziest thing I have ever done was tried to
cut my own hair when I was twelve. Needless to say,
the results were predictable and I would never attempt
to do this again.
What charity/charities have you supported
with your time and/or resources over past two years?
I have participated in fundraising for the CIBC Run
for the Cure, Barrie’s future Simcoe-Muskoka
Regional Cancer Care Centre and the United Way. I
have volunteered my time at the Royal Victoria Hospital
in Barrie. Presently, I am volunteering my time with
the Simcoe Community Services.
What would be your "dream job"
in life?
My “dream job” in life would be to have
a career as an Interpreter.
Name one personal accomplishment (in addition
to being a Miss Universe Canada contestant) that makes
you especially proud.
Receiving the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario award
for outstanding academic, volunteer and community
participation. Its recipient is an outgoing, well-rounded
young adult.
What is the most important thing you want
people to know about you?
I am honest, genuine and I love life; living everyday
to it’s fullest.
What are your favorite movie, song, sport,
and food?
My favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption.
My favorite artist is Sarah McLachlan.
My favorite sport is Hockey.
My favorite food is Alfredo penne with shrimp.
What would you like to accomplish if you
win the Miss Universe Canada title?
I would like to volunteer my time as Miss Universe
Canada to help aid in fundraising for the development
of the Simcoe-Muskoka Regional Cancer Care Centre.
This cause is especially dear to me, as I have experienced
through personal relationships the effect of not having
a facility in my community.
A motto that has served you as inspiration.
“Life isn’t about finding yourself, Life
is about creating yourself.” E.W. Wilcox
