Special Awards for the 2006 Competition:

Miss Congeniality

It is the delegates, themselves, who choose who will win this award. It is awarded to the delegate who has displayed fellowship, helpfulness, good sportsmanship, a sense of humor in times of stress and goodwill to her fellow delegates over the competition period.

Best Hair

This award is presented by REVLON Professional to the delegate with the Best looking hair. As prize, the winner receives a full year of hair products courtesy of Revlon Professional and ABBA Hair Products.

People's Choice Award

The official website of Miss Universe Canada (www.beautiesofcanada.com) invites the general public to visit the site, view the photos and bios of the 50 delegates and to vote on who they think should win the title of Miss Universe Canada 2006 - People's Choice Award.

Christina Swimwear

There are three awards presented in this category: 2nd runner-up, 1st runner-up and the winner of the Christina Swimwear 2006 award. The winner will receive a full year of swimwear.

Miss Photogenic

This title is presented to the delegate who captured the eye or should we say the lens of a selected group of professional photographers who they felt was the most photogenic.
