What in the craziest thing you ever done?
When I was 17 years old, I tried to do a backflip
while snowboarding. Unfortunately, the jump wasn’t
successful. I landed on my stomach and I thought I
was going to die because the wind was knocked out
of me. I never tried again. Around the same age, I
jumped of a cliff in a quarry.
What charity have you supported with your
time and resources over past two years?
Since I have always had two jobs. I haven’t
had the time to participate in charities, but I love
helping my friends and family. And it’s never
too late to start.
What would be your dream job in life?
Ideally I wish to start modeling after the contest
and continue working in the restaurant service and
to become a chef or wait staff manager.
Name one personal accomplishment that makes
you especially proud.
My personal accomplishment is being the woman that
I am today. I’m proud of the education I received.
I’m stronger today because of the hardships
and happy moments in my life.
What is the most important thing you want
people to know about you?
I’m an enthusiastic active, honest, generous
and authentic person. I like helping people and it’s
important to me that people around me are happy. My
friends say I’m full of surprises. (Je suis
une vraie boîte à surprise)
What is your favourite movie, song, sport
and food?
MOVIE
I have two favourite movies. The first one is Dirty
Dancing, because it was my favourite childhood movie.
The second movie is Gladiator, because the story is
excellent and I like the Roman era, also I like the
morals of the film.
MUSIC
I love many types of music, too many to name but
I prefer Nora Jones.
SPORTS
Because I’m an active person I participate
in a lot of sports. For example, I go to the gym three
times a weeks, roller blade, snowboard, motorcycle...
FOOD
I have a passion for food and that’s the reason
I work as a chef. Some people eat to live but I live
to appreciate food. I like sushi. I have a sweet tooth
and I love everything chocolate.
What would you like to accomplish if you
win Miss Universe Canada?
I would like to become a spokesperson for AIDS awareness
and for mistreated children. I would like to follow
princess Diana’s example.
A motto that has served you as inspiration.
I live by the French _expression “qui risque
rien n’a rien”. Sometimes, you have to
take a risk to make things happen. My motivation is
to pursue challenges.
