What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

The craziest thing I have ever done would have to be the time that my girlfriend and I had a sudden urge for a road trip, so we packed our bags and within hours were on our way to New York!

Armed with only a road map from Wal-Mart, we drove for 12 hours straight all the way through Manhattan and then to Connecticut where we stayed at a friend's college for a week. The craziest part of all however, was when we took a wrong turn and ended up driving through a very bad part of the Bronx at 3:00 am!

What would be your "dream job" in life?

My "dream job" in life would definitely be that of a Recording Artist. I enjoy singing more than anything in life, and being on stage or in front of a camera come naturally to me. Ever since I can remember, I've been performing. Even when I am with friends and family, I constantly strive to entertain. Plus, when you have a job that you love the challenges are more exciting than stressful.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a Miss Universe Canada contestant) that makes you especially proud.

The accomplishment that I am most proud of thus far in life was when I was accepted into Sheridan College for their Musical Theatre Performance Program. I attended an eight hour audition that included dancing, a vocal solo performance, a monologue, a written theory exam as well as an ear test. It was both gruelling and exciting.

But the best part of all was that they accepted me into the program that very day, after seeing my audition. There were hundreds of applicants with only a few positions available. I was very proud of how hard I had worked in making sure I was prepared for such a big day.

What is the most important thing you want people to know about you?

The most important thing I would like for people to know about me is that I see something beautiful in everyone I meet. I make a point of never pre-judging, because who knows what an amazing friendship I could be missing out on? I realize that everyone has something to offer to this world, and I am very excited when I discover a unique quality within a person. I work hard for the things I believe in and love, and I will always stand up for a friend.

What is your favorite movie, song, sport, and food?

My favourite movie is Legends of the Fall.
My favourite song is Black Star by Radiohead.
My favourite sport to play is hockey, but to watch is basketball.
And my favourite food is a veggie and cheese sub with lots of mayo, pickles, olives and hot peppers. Yum!

What would you like to accomplish if you win the Miss Universe Canada title?

If I were to win the Miss Universe Canada title, I would want to accomplish my goal of inspiring others to utilize the qualities they have in a way that changes somebody's life. By participating in charity events and giving my time, energy and resources to those who don't have the things that are so easily taken for granted, I would be making a difference in my own small way.

I would also aim to instil a sense of self worth and respect into young ladies by presenting myself as a woman who not only exudes exterior beauty, but has strength in spirit and mind.

A motto that has served you as inspiration.

"Luck is when preparation meets opportunity".
