What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

When I was 5 years old, one day while my grandfather was sleeping I decided to make him look “beautiful” by painting his fingernails and toe nails with a bright red nail polish. The bright red color went all over his clothes, his bed sheets and even on his leg hair. When he woke up and realized what I’ve done I was in a painful trouble. That day he made me understand to never ever make him look “beautiful”. I learned my lesson and I do stay away from people when they are sleeping.

Please list any schools and universities (public/private/graduate/trade or technical) you have or are attending, as well as the area of study, graduation date and any degree or certification you received.

I went to high school at Iona Catholic Secondary School in Mississauga and then I went to George Brown College for General Arts and Science (Performing Arts- IPAC) where I got my certificate in June of 2004.

What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over past two years?

I have volunteered for a charity called “Inside the Dream” that provides less fortunate women with the perfect dress for their graduation night so they can shine on that special night for them!

I have also helped with the delivery of food to elderly people (meals on wheels) in Toronto.

What would be your "dream job" in life?

My dream job is to spend my life acting on stage and in television where I can make people think and feel. Acting is my greatest passion and my dream. Acting is the ability to truthfully and believably be a person that might be way different than the person that you really are in life. The power to make your audience cry, laugh, be scared, feel an emotion is the power that I dream to have through my acting.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a Miss Universe Canada contestant) that makes you especially proud.

I am very proud to have graduated from my performing arts program. The program has given me bigger love and understanding for the magic of acting.

What is the most important thing you want people to know about you?

The most important think that I want people to know about me is the fact that I am extremely proud of my parents and especially my father. My father has sacrifice so much and has put his life on hold so my brother and I can have a shot at making our dreams come true. He is the person that I look up to and the one that I trust fully all the way. He is my biggest, priceless gift and I love him so much.

What is your favorite movie, song, sport, and food?

I have three favorite movies: “Only You”, “A Walk to Remember” and “The Notebook”. Those movies are the type that makes you believe in love or makes you cherish the love that you already have.
Favorite song: “This I Promise You” is the song that would be playing at my wedding one day when I have my first dance with my future husband.
Favourite food: is Bulgarian food especially “Gyuveche” and “Tarator”

What would you like to accomplish if you win the Miss Universe Canada title?

If I win I would like to motivate people to have confidence in themselves and believe in their dreams and goals. I would share my life stories and struggles so they can understand that they are not alone . I would also like to speak up about AIDS and cancer. I would love to make a positive difference in somebody’s life. There are so many people to be reached and I would love to extend my arms and my heart to them.

A motto that has served you as inspiration.

“A good woman knows her limits. A great woman knows she has none”
