What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

I decided to go sky diving. I had always wanted to do it for as long as I can remember, but never really got up the nerve. Then one year I received a gift certificate as a present on my birthday and decided to go ahead and do it.

Please list any schools and universities (public/private/graduate/trade or technical) you have or are attending, as well as the area of study, graduation date and any degree or certification you received.

I am currently completing a double honours major in Law and Society and psychology at York University.

What charity/charities have you supported with your time and/or resources over the past two years?

I have been volunteering at my local hospital for the last six years. I worked in both the surgical and emergency ward. This experience has taught me a great deal.

What would be your "dream job" in life?

I would like to make others happy, along with myself as part of my daily occupation.

Although I haven't decided exactly what it is that I want to do, I think it most likely would have to involve working with young children. Reason being that its so easy to make them smile, and they make you smile so easily.

Name one personal accomplishment (in addition to being a Miss Universe Canada contestant) that makes you especially proud.

I feel that I have become more self assured about myself as I grow older. It is that confidence that I feel is my greatest accomplishment, and gives me the courage to attempt to achieve the goals I set for myself.

What is the most important thing you want people to know about you?

That what you see is what you get. I am a very straightforward person. I believe that life is much too short to spend it constructing a masquerade.

What is your favourite movie, song, sport, and food?

Favourite movie: Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hephburn
Fav Song: hmm. I have so many, I could never pick just one.
Fav Sport: Tennis
Fav Food: anything chocolate

What would you like to accomplish if you win the Miss Universe Canada title?

I would attempt to bring more awareness to the unequal distribution of public funds for social services. I feel that all schools, after-school programs, health services, and other outreach programs should be given
equal funding. It is often the poorest neighbourhoods that receive the least funding, which is an extensive problem because this is precisely where these resources are needed most.

A motto that has served you as inspiration.

James Dean said the following "Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today."
